Commercial Mold
Recently SERVPRO of Columbia, Montour & Sullivan Counties performed mold remediation at a commercial frozen food vendor's location. The storage room behind the large walk in freezer was showing evident mold growth up to 18" high on drywall wall. Our crew set up containment to isolate the area, a small air scrubber was set up to capture any airborne mold spores. The drywall was removed on half the linear length of the wall, until no further visible mold was found. The apparent reason for the mold is condensation from the freezer unit. The wall are was treated with an antimicrobial.
